office in Singapore.

System Administrator

(Singapore)

Responsibilities:

      Good knowledge on System administration  and Network administration

The Role

As a network engineer, you will help maintain and administer the network

infrastructure across our India and Singapore offices, supporting users on

regular basis for Voice, data and video efficiency and stability across the network and

 help desk related incident resolution.

Skill sets

    * Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within networking/communications. 

Strong in IP fundamentals.

    * Knowledge of troubleshooting windows and mac environments.

    * Knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls.

    * Sound knowledge of  Apache, Mysql, Samba, DNS, and DHCP .

    * Scripting and Web/CGI development experience a plus.

    * Prior experience in remote access (VPN), back up and recovery systems.

    * Work experience in remote server support. Experience with Network monitoring tools a plus.

    * ITIL knowledge is an added plus.

    * Certifications is a added plus

Responsibilities:

    * Maintain, administer and troubleshoot  the Data and voice network across Singapore and India.

    * Manage Tech Support help desk  for OS Configs, network efficiency and stability, data security, backup and software

installations/updates.

    * Interface with outsourced teams and external vendors.

    * Oversee network documentation

    * Provide tech support, handle incidents and changes in a windows and Mac network environment.

    * Managing and supporting Symantec Backup

Requirements

    * Strong knowledge of industry best practices.

    * Good communication skills and capable of assessing, interfacing with vendors and evaluating solutions related to the IT network.

    * A minimum of 3 years of experience in Installing, configuring & troubleshooting Windows and Linux/Unix networks.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma,
  Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma,
  Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Computer Science/Information
  Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science &
  Technology, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
  
  
• Required skill(s): Tomcat.
  
  
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the
  related field is required for this position.
  
  
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in
  IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
