Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing the development of IT solutions to support products and services designed to meet customers’ supply chain solutions needs.
  • To leverage existing IT infrastructure and systems, while assessing current functionality with a first priority on the customer's requirements.
  • To work with the Solutions Teams, Business Development and Program Management to determine IT requirements to support SCS products and services and supply chain solutions that meet customer’s logistics needs while making the most effective use of available technology, working with Shared Services to ensure all hardware, software and telecommunications requirements for SCS to run a customer’s program are addressed.
  • Work with Business Development, Program Management and Operations to ensure successful implementation of the solution.
  • Work with District and International engineering teams to ensure accurate generation of costs associated with the IT products being recommended to fulfill the customer’s requirements, and serves as the primary point of contact for the customer’s IT staff to determine compatibility and integration with the customer’s systems.
  • Communicates directly and constantly with the Sales Support Systems, Business Development Managers, Program Managers, Project Managers, Shared Services IT, Transportation Solutions, Warehouse Solutions and Customers. This position reports to a Senior Manager of IT Solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, MIS or related area. Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of industry experience in Transportation, Supply Chain Management or Service Parts Logistics Systems.
  • 1-3 years of project management experience with complex supply chain solutions preferred ;
  • 1-3 years of experience inside the healthcare sector also preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work under a fast pace environment and able to meet the tight timeline.
  • A fast driven & responsible worker with the ability to work independently as well as a team member.
